Only the reformation with its stress of the general Priestertums put the main accent on the municipality, and accordingly the people singing - the church song - stepped into the foreground.
Being based on the vorreformatorischen church song and on the folk song, new church songs in abundance were created.
The Gegenreformation had, in order to pull directly, stress the church song more strongly, but it remained of secondary importance.
In addition, Martin Luther was a Bewunderer of the ornate Figuralmusik. He loved Josquin and Senfl and let her exist. Thus municipality singing with choir singing changed in the lutherischen service.
Developed numerous ornate Kirchenlied Motetten, which had the church song in place of the Gregorianik to the thematic source. Ornate choir music and municipality singing were fed from a source.
The songs of the reformation and Gegenreformation developed from a religious departure.
In addition, in the consequence other spirit-historical powers stepped on the plan.
The author (*1918) was a composition professor as well as Prorector of the Salzburger of conservatoire `Mozarteum'. he died on 13 January 1989. This contribution comes of the unpublished deduction.

I notice, you know each other out! Me Polish church songs actually come like German composition championship with Russian icing over it pre are already correct, them are very many more mystischer as the Germans… probable are it also what attracts me in such a way there.
