On 26 priests 22 Novizen and student come
That a medal community does not have to be necessarily a kind Christian home for the elderly, proved a young Kongregation recently. In Austria.
Venue was the small lock Auhof in the down-Austrian locality blind market. The market municipality belonged to the Diözese pc. Pölten and is appropriate 50 kilometers west for the bishop city.
The lock Auhof is the mother house of the Kongregation. It serves for also to the Noviziat and in-house theological training of the scholastics.
The community was begun in the year 1988 by a former Jesuiten and Pfadfinderkaplan - Pater Andreas Hönisch -. She sees herself as reestablishment of the Jesuitenordens.
1994 received the servants Jesu and Mariens from the papal commission Ecclesia Dei the acknowledgment as Kongregation of papal right.
For the cause of the general chapter all members of the Kongregation were present. This consists in the meantime of 26 priests and 22 Novizen and scholastics.
The fields of work of the priests are various. Members of the servants Jesu and Mariens care for Pfarreien and are active in Germany and Austria in the youth work and in the Schriftenapostolat.
In Münsterland leads the medal in the house Assen a boarding school for boys.
Outside of the German linguistic area priests of the Kongregation are active in Romania, where they care for a kindergarten, a school and a home for the elderly.
In Kazakhstan priests of the servants Jesu and Mariens lead a central school complex with 200 children and young people and care for remote mission stations.
Finally the medal is active in the Resozialisierung of young people in France.
The general chapter advised over important questions of the Kongregation and again selected Pater Andreas Hönisch to the general-upper.
