German gap in the law permits designer babies
A gray area in the German law makes it possible to select so-called designer babies. Two selected children are recently in Germany born. For it did ill die?
At the university clinic of Luebeck the medical profession “help” one of Bremen pair to healthy child.
At the university clinic of Luebeck `verhalfen' the medical profession one of Bremen pair to healthy child.
(kreuz.net) `the Bioethik Nachrichten' report on two German children, who were born in the last weeks after a so-called „pole body diagnostics “. A first child made to measure came into Regensburg to the world, the second child into Luebeck.

The pole body diagnostics functions according to the following principle. During the development of the egg cell two so-called „Polkörperchen form “. With the help of micro-surgical techniques after an artificial fertilization the Polkörperchen is removed from the befrucheten egg cell and analyzed regarding their gene material. The Polkörperchen is taken from the fertilized egg cell in the period between the penetration of the Spermiums into the egg cell and the fusion of the cell cores. Due to this analysis for example being present deviations in the chromosome number can be determined.

Thus those children can be segregated with artificial fertilization, who on suffer transferred hereditary diseases from the mother.

The German embryo law for the protection - which regulates the generation of children in the test tube - the investigation of the fertilized egg cell forbids. The artificially fertilized egg cell possesses thus before the German law a legal status. However this legal protection of humans begins only after the nuclear fusion.

The period between the fertilization of the egg cell and the nuclear fusion is legally unsettled. This gap in the law is used, in order to segregate handicapped children - in the jargon „incorrect egg cells “mentioned - by means of the Polkörperchen diagnostics.

The research falls back to the Polkörperchen diagnostics, because `the Präimplantations Diagnostik' is forbidden in Germany. With the latter the embryo is only examined after the fusion of the chromosomes, usually on the 3rd day after fertilization, for so-called `illness-relevant Merkmale'. At this time humans already enjoy the protection by the embryo law for the protection.

After the message „of the bio ethics messages “`the national Ethikrat' in Germany does not see the Polkörperchen diagnosis „in the contradiction to the embryo law for the protection, because she is used extremely early, immediately after fertilization (cell fusion). “Critics speak against it of that researchers used the incomplete defaults of the legislator to their favour. History shows that such a and `erfolgreiche' practice of many years is argumentatively used later, in order to legitimize an experimenting with humans officially.

The research with cells from human embryos (main cells) is for this an example.

Dolfus: Blessedly,
who means, not already similar thoughts would employ our current world leader.
To what extent would the National Socialist European community planned by Hitler actually differ from the today's European Union?
Politically probably not very much, except that the State of Israel would probably not exisitieren on Palestinian territory.

… would have been a Paradies for of large Germany leaders and realm chancellors.
