„Confession and practice of the catholic religion, which is the religion of the Spanish state, enjoy official protection. In summary Pater Schmidberger explains the subsequent effects of the freedom of religion proclaimed by the second Vatikanum:
• She denies God all-comprehensive ruler rights.
• It dethrones our Mr. Jesus Christ as a king of the society.
• It places the church on the same stage with the wrong religions.
• It causes the Entchristlichung of the society.
• It leads humans to the religious indifference.
• It favoured not the Bekehrung of the souls to the true religion, but rather its remaining in the wrong religions.
As practical examples Pater Schmidberger calls the faith waste in in former times catholic States of Italy and Spain as well as the mass waste of the believers in South America, which overflow in crowds to Protestant free churches:
„The damage for the thing of God and the eternal welfare of the souls could not be larger. “
