The forty-year old tyranny of the Sandalisten
Last night I participated in the perhaps most beautiful service of my life. Of Damian Thompson.
(kreuz.net) last night I participated in the perhaps most beautiful service of my life.
Pater Julian Large - a former journalist of the British daily paper `The Telegraph' - celebrated a traditional fair in the small Oratorium in London.
Cause was the publication of the book „into the Footsteps OF Joseph Ratzinger “- in the Fußstapfen Joseph Ratzingers - from Alessandra Borghese.
That was an unforgettable experience - a great Roman Liturgie in the small framework.
Pater Julian carried a blood-red, embroidered Kasel to gold. It offered a virtuose representation of the holy gestures of the traditional fairs. Sometimes the Pater disappeared nearly behind the dedicating smoke columns.
The Liturgie was solemnly, not in the most distant affektiert.
Because the priest the measuring victim to God brought - looked and in the same direction as the believers - became its personality irrelevant.
The book by princess Borghese is a personal and affectionate exploring of the Bavarian roots of Benedikt XVI.
The Pope would have been over the conception of the book in the context of an old person fair pleased, those the hastily arranged - translated and on a barbarian way - Bugnini Meßbuch, which was forced upon to the church in the year 1970, in so various way is superior.
Some years ago I read a remarkable article of the Australian Dominikaners, Pater Efraem Chiffley, with the title „victims and holy area “.
Therein the Pater explains that those is closer to God turned Liturgie of the natural orientation of humans to the holy one than the worldly chat services.
That comes even into ceremonies to the expression, which are as far distant from the Christianity as for example the cult of the Australian natives.
Another Dominikaner, Pater Aidan Nichols - which the holy father pulls hopefully as a successor of cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor - is possible at a similar conclusion:
„Rites, which do not permit a distance, refuse the believers in paradoxes a way to acquire itself the service action. They obstruct it straight, where they could be drawn by a leap of religious imagination to God “- it writes.
There is no large spatial distance between priests and people in the chapel of the Brompton Oratory in London.
The impression of a cosmic width, for which by the rite one produces, nevertheless wrapped the believers in reverence and even in vibration.
During following dinner the Konversation always returned this fair: The impression, which was produced by it, was so large.
Interestingly enough the princess in its speech did not mention the moving instants of the Liturgie, but she spoke about her personal relationship with Jesus.
To one of those, it approving were Nicky Gumbel, the Vikar listened stress Protestant Holy Trinity church in Brompton.
Gumbels alpha of courses fulfilled parts of the anglikanischen community in England with modern Orthodoxie.
Pope Benedikt XVI. the catholic church would like to revive by the re-establishment of the rechtgläubigen Liturgie, after this was devastated by a forty-year old tyranny by Sandalisten.
I believe not to say it exaggerated that the future of the English catholicism depends on the appointment of an archbishop on Westminster, which divides this vision.
But where we can find such a man?

Alois bishop: Is tyranny
really past, or the heart Jesu Marxists make again for place for the Chenu Rahner Nouvelle Théologie supporters under catholic camouflage? It does not concern (only) mainly hl. Roman Liturgie (it to defend and spread is valid) was institutionally destroyed, but first around the fight for the rechtgläubige, Roman-catholic faith teachings by the Neomodernismus since 1958/1965.

And the same is considered today as `erzkonservativ'?!! …
Now, Mr. Thompson one „High Church “- variant in one „pluralistischen “and non-catholic church community may not give and cannot it in the true Roman-catholic church. While they are beautiful and good, golden Kaseln is still no proof for the restoration. Are you nevertheless not so naively!
